You are an optimist, not letting your table at dinner ruin the evening. I curled up with the last 100 pages of a good book (always the best part) and chatted with my Seattle peep about raw chocolate pudding. Then buzzed around the kitchen with a good movie and a pot of chicken soup simmering in the background, salmon poaching on the stove and homemade frozen yogurt in the freezer.

Spousal Unit & I had a marvelous day ... with dinner at the restaurant that catered our wedding. We didn't get quite the ambiance we had hoped, but the meal was delicious. So, how was YOURS?

And, I love it that you quote Ambrose Bierce ... I *heart* the Devil's Dictionary.
