I had half a mind to send bags to you and ask that you to make one for me! But I wouldn't do that to you. Can dry cleaning plastic be used? They're bigger but maybe not as durable. Good project for young fingers; they can crochet while listening to school lectures, concerts, tv. Such a good idea to make the stuff into usable things, but better still to not even manufacture it. Grocery store cashiers don't seem to understand the concept of "No bags, please."

So good to share each other's green ideas; I'm going to try and do a 4th Thursday of the Month Green Post. What do you think?

My geek changed comments to 12-pt, but I see that it only enlarges once posted; still going blind actually writing the comments. Template designers and their 20-yr-old eyes. Sheesh!

Aargh! How did I miss this? Thank you for linking back ... and I'm still working on that project, but finding it tough to collect the bags. It's also harder to crochet (for arthritic hands). But, I'm thinking of another use: I always need a mat under the cat bowls. A rectangle of plastic bag crochet could work.
Love all your other green suggestions!
