Good suggestion! What could be more authentic than borscht made by a Russian?

Don't worry in the slightest about me laying my deadlines at your doorstep. I set the bar for daily posts all my by myself (so I guess I can break my own rule), but I'm happier to include others as a motivation factor in the process. This is a marathon for which doing it is its own training. I so appreciate encouragement I feel through your presence. The mind works in weird and mysterious ways, but it's all good!

Check the mint outside your door with Google Images to identify the variety (spearmint, peppermint, etc); each one has a little different flavor. Also use fresh mint to flavor black or fruit teas.

Get Sergio to make borscht for you! I figure if you will follow him to Queens, it's the least he can do :-). I've never heard of parsley root, either, but then I'm not much of a gourmet cook.

As for "letting down Shelly," please never let that thought cross your mind! If "Only The Good" becomes a burden on any week, then it's not so good ... is it?

But, mint tea sounds delicious. I might have to see if any mint looks usable in my yard and give it a try. My brain could probably use a "hot soaky bath."

Have a delightful weekend, my friend. Thanks for taking part.
