INSTANT BREAKFAST KIT TO TAKE TO WORK

EQUIPMENT
Glass, china or pottery (microwave-proof) cup or mug
Plastic lid for covering while steeping (doesn’t have to fit tightly, just something to put on top of the mug
Salt shaker(s) for salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar, cocoa
Tablespoon or coffee measure
Small squeeze bottle (from the drug store)  for agave nectar, honey, maple syrup
Spoon for eating

GROCERY
MUSILI

Quick oats or grits
Heavy cream
Butter cut into 1 tsp pats
Dried fruit:  raisins, apple, apricot, cranberries, currants

CEREAL Eat as a dry snack or in a bowl with milk

  • Muisili
  • Granola

FRUIT

  • Just about any fresh fruit, cut up & taken to school or work in an air-tight container.
  • Freeze blueberries or grapes to keep fruit cool until you arrive, or mix with plain yogurt.
  • Have with cream or over plain yogurt.

SANDWICH

  • Peanut Butter, banana & wheat germ on whole grain or rice cakes.
  • Leftover French Toast, made with whole grain bread
