SUBMITTING COMMENTS TO THE FDA

DAILY POST JULY 4th:  DEAR US GOVERNMENT:  PUT HEALTH FIRST

The FDA is taking comments for Front-of-Package Labeling.  It is important to get health claims off of the front of packaging, especially in breakfast cereals that are target marketed to kids.  Health claims on food products mean nothing and only confound consumers who are looking for concrete information about the food they are buying.

Assert your independence and preserve government for the people, by the people by writing to the FDA and your elected officials.  You can submit comments on-line through the government website www.Regulations.gov.  It’s pretty easy.  Comments limited to 2,000 characters.  You can also print out your comments (probably no limit on length) and mail them to the FDA in Maryland.
