GIFTS FOR HER
Ordinarily, appliances are strictly prohibited as gifts for the woman in your life, but you can make an exception if that woman is your mother.  Appliances should be only those she would never buy for herself, but you know she will enjoy.

No cheesy, single-use tools or useless gadgets that take up valuable kitchen space allowed.  Select the best possible quality in your price range; good kitchen accoutrements last a lifetime.  It is a definite plus if they are beautiful.

*Large glass or ceramic pitcher for holding filtered water
*Pepper grinder of beautiful hardwood, metal or combination
Wok w/burner collar
Ice cream/frozen yogurt maker
Vegetable steamer/rice cooker
*Cocktail shaker of brushed stainless steel or silver
Large enameled dutch oven in bright color
If you’re handy, install under-counter strip lighting above all counter-tops
*Large salad bowl of beautifully-crafted hardwood
*Thick, solid cutting board of multiple hardwoods
Carving knife & fork set
