MAKES: 1 loaf
PREPARATION TIME
:  5 min
BAKING TIME: 40 min
PREHEAT OVEN::  350ºF, 325ºF for oven glassware

C O O K  /  P R E P A R E

INGREDIENTS
3 c flour, unsifted
12 oz can beer
2 TBSP honey
2 TBSP molasses
2 TBSP vegetable oil

PREPARATION

  1. Put flour in bowl, make a little well in the center.
  2. Add honey, molasses & oil to the flour.  Pour the beer into the middle of the wet ingredients.
  3. Whisk until just blended.  Don’t over-mix.
  4. Turn into a greased loaf pan.
  5. Bake 40 min, until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Cool on baking rack for 10 min; invert loaf pan to remove bread.
  7. Cool completely before storing in plastic grip-lock bag in the refrigerator or in a cool place.

S E R V E

Slice thick and serve plain or toasted, spread with butter.
