Lean loin pork chop

Butter
Tart apple, cored & sliced
Raisins
Fresh ground nutmeg

COOKING TIME
: Approx 30 min, depending upon thickness of chop.

  1. Saute 1 side of chop.
  2. Turn & add fruit to pan.
  3. Saute other side of chop and fruit.

C O O K  /  P R E P A R E

INGREDIENTS
Pork chop, about 1/3 lb
1 TBSP butter
1 apple, sliced
Small handful raisins
Nutmeg

COOKING

  1. Heat butter in skillet.  Add pork chop, sprinkle with nutmeg & sauté until browned.
  2. Turn & sauté other side.
  3. Put sliced apple & raisins around chop and sauté until soft.
  4. Chop is done when it is browned on the outside and very hot in the center.  There should be no pink juices.

S E R V E

Place on plate with sautéed fruit on top.  For a larger meal, serve with Plain or Divine Mashed Potatoes & steamed vegetable.
VARIATION:  Serve with sautéed onions instead of apples & raisins.
