PREHEAT OVEN: 350ÂşF.

INGREDIENTS
1/2 TBSP butter
1 winter squash
Dash nutmeg

COOKING/PREPARATION

  1. Cut squash in polar half, scoop out seeds.
  2. Place cut side down in baking dish.
  3. Bake until flesh is soft (skin remains hard).

S E R V E

Scoop flesh out of the shell; add butter & nutmeg.  Good along with almost any meat or fish dish.

Why not?  Just heat, add butter & nutmeg.  Eat right out of the shell.
