COOKING TIME:  15 min

  1. Saute garlic.
  2. Add okra, cook, add tomatoes, heat.

C O O K  /  P R E P A R E

INGREDIENTS
2 TBSP olive oil
2 cloves garlic
3/4 – 1 lb okra, whole with stem ends cut off
2 tomatoes, quartered
Pinch kosher or sea salt

COOKING/PREPARATION

  1. Saute garlic in olive oil.
  2. Add okra, a little filtered water, cover & cook over low heat until tender, about 5 – 10 min.  The smaller the pods, the quicker they cook.
  3. Add tomatoes & salt; cover & simmer until hot.

S E R V E

Serve as an accompaniment to any main dish.
